The article further considers previous studies into discrimination and concludes that body weight is in fact a big source of prejudice against job- seekers. The article gives statistical facts on people disqualified for jobs in many fields for being obese. It relates directly with our case study as the case study gives one example where a personâ€™s obesity is used as an index to judge whether he is qualified for the job or not.
